Quick Overview

The Solar Irradiance Meter is a small handheld device that gives a digital readout of the sun’s power. To get a correct digital reading, you need to point the calibrated PV cell at the sun and simply read the irradiance in Watt/m2. This tool is essential for solar PV installers looking to test and determine the optimal positioning their solar panels.

This meter comes supplied in a carry case with a fully traceable Certificate of Conformity should you need it as part of your MCS Accreditation application.
